Overview

TITAN Greece has an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for our plant in Kamari. The position reports to the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor. The primary scope of this role is to support and coordinate the maintenance works as necessary for maximum efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of work orders ensuring safety, quality, and timeliness of work.
  • Establish effective collaboration with other services to enhance the Plant’s ability to produce the quantities required.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of new projects in cement production, from conceptualization to completion.
  • Support project timelines and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate the planning of mechanical maintenance inspections, assessments and evaluations including spare part audits.
  • Provide daily information related to maintenance and production issues at plant.
  • Monitor quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Make recommendations for improvements.
  • Propose alternative solutions in the execution of daily tasks.
  • Participate in periodic safety and informational meetings with employees as needed.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a Polytechnic School
  • 2+ years of working experience in a similar position in a manufacturing, industrial or construction setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices of machinery and other plant equipment
  • Proactive, resourceful, solutions oriented and results-oriented
  • Able to prioritize work, multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Communication with internal and external parties in a collaborative, positive manner
  • Critical thinking and creative, problem-solving skills
  • Able to quickly adapt and learn
  • Team player and solid interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills both in Greek & English language
  • Military Service fulfilled (if applicable)
