Overview

TITAN Greece is looking for a Quarry & Raw Materials Supervisor for our Thessaloniki plant. The position reports to the Plant Production Manager and is primarily responsible for overseeing and coordinating quarry operations, managing the availability and quality of raw materials, and optimizing production processes.

Responsibilities

  • Collects, evaluates, and utilizes data on raw material reserves and quarry operations to identify opportunities for improved resource utilization.
  • Collaborates with production unit engineers to assess the availability and quality of raw materials and proposes solutions for their optimal use.
  • Coordinates and monitors exploitation and rehabilitation studies, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and the implementation of new technologies.
  • Oversees daily quarry operations, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, operational efficiency, and production targets.
  • Monitors equipment performance, raw material extraction rates, and stock levels to optimize production flow and minimize downtime.
  • Ensures compliance with environmental and health & safety standards, conducting regular site inspections and reporting deviations.
  • Conducts process audits to optimize the extraction and preparation of raw materials.
  • Monitors technological advancements in quarry exploitation and cascades knowledge to production units.
  • Participates in the design and implementation of training activities, contributing to the development of technical expertise within the team.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mining & Metallurgical Engineering from a Polytechnic School.
  • Preferably 2-3 years of professional experience in a quarry or mining environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Team spirit and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Good command of English and proficiency in Ms Office.
  • Fulfilled military obligations (where applicable).
