Overview

TITAN Greece has an excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety Manager for our Plant in Kamari, Greece. The position reports to the Health and Safety Director of the Greek Region. The primary scope of this role is to promote and monitor all issues related to occupational health and safety for Titan’s Plant in Kamari, in accordance with corporate policies and legislation to meet company’s business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and external partners.
• Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety plans and programs, ensuring strict compliance with organizational and regulatory safety policies.
• Lead regular plant inspections, identifying areas for improvement, enforcing compliance with H&S guidelines, and recommending enhancements to workplace safety.
• Ensure full adherence to health and safety regulations within the framework of Greek legislation, setting high standards for compliance.
• Conduct in-depth investigations and root cause analyses of near misses and incidents, identifying patterns and implementing preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate records of safety activities and incident occurrences, providing senior management with data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
• Strategically design and implement safety training and awareness programs, fostering a strong safety culture among plant employees and contractors.
• Ensure rigorous application of Occupational Safety Guidelines (OSG), Occupational Safety Analyses (OSA), and company health and safety policies.
• Manage and continuously improve the Health and Safety Management System (OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001), driving operational excellence in workplace safety.

Qualifications

• Polytechnic School Graduate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in H&S leadership roles or in production and maintenance within an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety regulations, compliance frameworks, and risk management strategies.
• Proven experience in drafting and enforcing health and safety policies, as well as conducting risk analyses and accident prevention initiatives.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional observational skills to proactively identify hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a strong ability to influence and drive a culture of safety.
• Analytical problem-solving mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
• Fluency in Greek and English (oral & written).
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Military Service fulfilled (if applicable).
