TITAN Greece has an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for our Plant in Patra, Greece. The position reports to the Electrical Department Manager. The primary scope of this role is to plan, coordinate and monitor the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and facilities ensuring their effective operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and controls required to manufacture cement and provide relevant guidance to electrical technicians to ensure flow continuity of the production process
• Maintain safe and clean work area at all times; Ensure workplace safety through implementation, adherence and enforcement of company business standards, as well as safety and development programs; Plan, coordinate and ensure safe operation of subcontractors
• Manage preventative and corrective maintenance schedules and completion for all electrical equipment, components and installations to achieve safe and uninterrupted operation
• Oversee the work performed by staff and contractors as required for each job to ensure completion in a timely and quality manner
• Maximize equipment availability using efficient and proactive preventative maintenance programs. Propose new processes and projects to improve electrical installations and maximize the efficiency of the production process
• Monitor supplies to ensure adequate inventory of electrical equipment according to production demand
• Develop, train and motivate subordinates to ensure a productive work environment and high levels of efficiency and satisfaction
• TEI Graduate in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in a similar position with knowledge on operation, maintenance, troubleshooting of electrical equipment and installations, electrical installation safety measures, electrical installation controls and standards (HD 384)
• Hands on experience with electrical drawings management and electrical installation design on distribution, motion and lighting
• Technological savvy; knowledge of specialized engineering software (Eplan) is desirable
• Experience in automation systems (PLC, S7, etc.) and communication networks (TCP/IP) will be considered an asset
• Proactive attitude toward solving problems
• Safety minded and team oriented with ability to accommodate effectively internal stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Fluent in Greek and English (oral and written)
